Steve Jansen was one of the founder members of legendary new wave group Japan. His post-Japan career has seen Jansen as an in-demand drummer and percussionist for a wide range of international artists. Recently he reunited with his brother David Sylvian, working together on the SamadhiSound label and their group with Burnt Friedman, Nine Horses.
In October 2007, Steve releases his solo album "Slope" featuring guest contributions from Anja Garbarek, David Sylvian, Theo Travis and Joan As Policewoman. Rebels In Control have designed a microsite to promote the release, taking our cue from Chris Bigg's artwork.
Previously, Rebels In Control designed Steve's official website, which features a PayPal shop where his fans can purchase high-quality prints of photos shot by Jansen in the 80s at the height of Japan's fame.
